A large house of character with private swimming pool for holidays in the heart of the Basque Country... In this authentic 18th century Basque house, you will enjoy the serenity and charm of the countryside at the gateway to the ocean and the mountains. The owners have an apartment adjoining the house. On the ground floor : - Equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator) - Large living room with insert fireplace and relaxation area (TV) - 3 bedrooms with 1 160 cm bed each, private bathrooms - Cellar (freezer) - Wc Upstairs : - 1 bedroom with 2 90 cm beds, which can be combined into 1 180 cm bed - 1 attic bedroom with 1 160 bed - Attic bathroom with toilet - Mezzanine with office and library Beds made on arrival. Bathroom and household linen included. Wifi internet connection. Baby equipment on request. Heating extra (meter reading). Wood for the fireplace provided. Covered terrace with garden furniture, plancha and barbecue. Laundry room with washer/dryer. Heated swimming pool (9x5m), secured by an alarm (open from 06/1 to 09/30, depending on weather conditions). Deckchairs. Garden. Car park. Children will enjoy the company of the nearby owners' chickens and goats. From the garden and the swimming pool, you will enjoy a beautiful unobstructed view of the Basque hills, dotted with stone borders! Departing from the house, numerous walking routes are possible, leading you on one side towards the listed village of Labastide-Clairence, its streets, its craftsmen, its church, on the other hand towards the route des cimes which leads to Belloc Abbey or Hasparren with the Rhune in the distance.
