La Casa dell’Antiquario – Live in an Art Gallery, Sleep Among Unique Artifacts
Imagine stepping through the door not of a simple apartment, but of a world of its own.
In the authentic heart of Turin, among the liveliest and most charming streets of San Salvario, just a few minutes from the metro and Valentino Park, La Casa dell’Antiquario welcomes you: a refined boutique apartment inside a historic Art Deco building, where every piece of furniture, every artwork, and every object is for sale.
Yes, you heard right: here, you don’t just stay… you collect.
As soon as you enter, you’ll be greeted by a sumptuous entryway featuring striking wallpaper by IKSEL, illuminated by a rare 1950s modernist chandelier from Paris. A true masterful prelude to the aesthetic journey that awaits you beyond the threshold.
The living room is spacious, bright, and sophisticated: oak parquet floors, a splendid vintage walnut table with six chairs, and the undisputed star of the lounge area—the iconic FOX Monza modular sofa, spacious and comfortable, perfect for welcoming guests or converting into a double bed. The smart TV and ultra-fast Wi-Fi round out the space, making it ideal for remote work and relaxing evenings.
The first bedroom, the evocative Stanza dei Duchi, pays homage to the Savoy nobility: the walls are covered with Van Bromsenn wallpaper, while two magnificent original portraits of Charles Emmanuel II, Duke of Savoy, and his wife, Giovanna Battista of Savoy-Nemours, dominate the room. The king-size bed, with a matching velvet headboard, is designed to offer a rest fit for a king.
The Master Room, on the other hand, is a bright and elegant oasis. The king-size bed dominates the space, framed by Guell La Madrid upholstery and draperies, which add warmth, depth, and an unmistakable style. Every detail—from the furnishings to the natural light that floods the room—has been chosen to offer uncompromising comfort, privacy, and beauty.
The bathroom is a refined space equipped with every amenity: a spacious shower, organic products in luxury dispensers, ultra-soft towels and bathrobes, slippers, a hair dryer, and a hair straightener. Everything is designed to make you feel pampered, just like in a private spa.
The colorful and meticulously designed kitchen is adorned with Pierre Frey wallpaper and fully equipped: you’ll find a refrigerator stocked with water and juices, a dishwasher, a microwave, an induction cooktop, a selection of teas, and a Nespresso machine with capsules. The French doors open onto a cozy private balcony, perfect for a break outdoors or a quiet smoke.
A crib for children ages 0 to 1 with a soft mattress is also available upon request.
Located in a prime area, well-connected to Porta Nuova and surrounded by restaurants, markets, and bars, La Casa dell’Antiquario is more than just a place to stay: it’s an aesthetic and sensory journey where art becomes part of everyday life. Every piece you see—furniture, paintings, rugs, lamps—is for sale, so you can take a fragment of authentic beauty home with you.
Perfect for couples, friends, or business travelers, it can accommodate up to 6 people.
