The accommodation actually exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent location. The host was extremely responsive and always replied immediately whenever we had a question. The value for money was excellent, and overall we were very happy with our stay.
The cash deposit seemed quite high to me, and I was a little surprised that guests were expected to deal with the laundry and take out the rubbish themselves. This may be quite common nowadays, but it’s not something I’m personally used to when staying in holiday accommodation.

El apartamento esta en un barrio tranquilo y es perfecto para 4 personas (no apto para minusválidos ya que es un segundo sin ascensor). Tiene buena calefacción, las camas muy cómodas y con buenas sabanas y que tenga parking es un gran punto a favor, ya que en la calle hay q pagar. Está a 500m de la parada del tranvia para poder ver la ciudad, asi que es muy cómodo, ya que en 10min estas en el centro de Basilea sin coger el coche. Entrada y salida autónoma.
Me imagino que esto no será lo habitual, pero no estaba limpio. La cocina tenia muchas manchas en el suelo, y el resto de la casa estaba sin barrer. Habia leche abierta en la nevera y agua en el congelador. No habia papel higienico ni toalla de manos. Y encima para rematar hormigas! Tengo que decir que nada mas ponerme en contacto con ellos lo solucionaron todo (pusieron trampas para las hormigas, pusieron papel,....) y pudimos pasar una buena estancia de 2 noches.

Nice layout and just renovated
Some apartments in the building still being renovated, some dust in the stairs leading to the apartment (but the apartment was perfect)
