Historic Vacation Home in Menzenschwand on the Feldberg – Sleeps Up to 10 People

Welcome to our historic, smoke-free vacation home in idyllic Menzenschwand, one of Germany’s most beautiful villages, right on the Feldberg. The house offers plenty of space, comfort, and a special atmosphere—ideal for families, friends, and multigenerational trips.

The vacation home spans two floors and features 8 regular beds as well as a sleeper sofa (suitable for up to 10 people). In total, there are 4 bedrooms and 2 beautiful bathrooms, including a spacious bathroom on the upper floor.

On the lower level, there are two bedrooms with a connecting door to the large, cozy dining room—perfect for shared meals. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher (Note: The kitchen must be left clean; dishwasher tablets are not provided).
Security deposit:
The kitchen must be left clean (security deposit of 50 €). The property manager will collect the security deposit upon your arrival and return it to you at check-out. As noted, the visitor’s tax is not included in the
travel price.
The local visitor’s tax is:
adults 3.90 € per night, children ages 6 to 15
2.10 € per night. You must pay this to the property manager upon arrival!
A separate room is available right in the entrance area, ideal for storing skis, strollers, bicycles, or other equipment.

🌲 Nature & Location
The hiking trails start right outside the front door—numerous hiking and biking trails wind around the Feldberg. The famous Menzenschwand Waterfalls are about a 10-minute walk away. In winter, there is no 100% guarantee of snow.

🍽️ Food & Village Life
There are 4–5 cozy restaurants in the village where you can enjoy excellent meals. Directly across from the vacation home is a popular inn with a beer garden.
A bakery in the village offers a bread roll delivery service right to your doorstep on weekdays.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For Families
The village has a playground as well as a deer enclosure with a small mini-golf course, which is especially popular with children.

House Rules

To ensure all guests feel comfortable, please observe the following house rules:
• Non-smoking property—smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house.
• Kitchen: Please leave the kitchen clean.
A dishwasher is available; dishwasher tablets are not provided.
• Washing machine: Detergent is not provided.
• Damage or wear and tear:
If anything is damaged or, for example, knives are no longer sharp, please set them aside in a clearly visible place so we can replace or sharpen them.
• Grill:
After use, the grill must be left clean.
Please dispose of the ashes only when they are cold in the green trash can.
The grill grate can be borrowed from the property manager and must be returned clean.
• Basement / Boiler Room:
The boiler room in the basement is not accessible and remains locked.
• Pets:
All pets must be registered at the time of booking.
• Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi password is posted in the entryway.

• General waste (gray): outside the door
• Glass: glass recycling bin in the lobby
• Yellow bag: in the entrance hall
