About this house rental
Welcome to my house in Plovan in the heart of the bay of Audierne.
Plovan is a typical village of the Bigouden country with its sublime pebble beach, its church and its ruins...
The village is accessible by car from Quimper (30 minutes - TGV station), Penmarch (25 minutes), the Pointe de la Torche (20 minutes), Audierne (30 minutes) or Douarnenez (20 minutes).
The house is located in the town center 1km (15 minutes walk) from the ocean. Inside, it is cozy and warm. You can find all the equipment you need to feel good: resting, working (with an excellent wifi connection) or cooking. You can use the garage to store your equipment (surfing, fishing, beach games...) and play sports: yoga, etc. The 300m² garden is enclosed and very pleasant in spring and summer with an outdoor shower (cold).

**HIKING & GR34**
At high tide, you can walk on the pebbles or coastal paths. At low tide, you can enjoy long walks on the beach. You have access to a wild nature between beach, dunes, marshes, forest and fields. Whatever the weather, the bay offers an impressive landscape. From the top of Plovan, you can observe the bay of Audierne and in particular see in the distance the lighthouse of Eckmühl in Penmarch.
**SURF**
It is possible to surf in all seasons in the bay of Audierne. In Plovan, the surf school is only open in summer. The spot of La Torche is 20 minutes away by car and its many schools offer courses all year round. Do not hesitate to contact La Torche Surf Coaching.

**CATERING**
In Plovan, there is a take-away catering service: Ty Kergoff. See brochure at home.
In Penhors (5 minutes by car), the seaside restaurants are open part of the year and offer a variety of menus.
In Penhors, you can also go for an aperitif at Kauri Brewery on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the summer and taste local beers and products.
At La Torche and Pors Carn (25 minutes by car), the catering offer is expanding: guiguettes, food trucks, beach restaurants...
**MARCHES**
There are many local markets in the area, many of which offer organic vegetables, bread, meat, cheese... Organic and local! Find out more on the Pays Bigouden tourist office website
