Very disappointing experience – Damp walls and poor communication

The location was good, and the apartment had modern furnishings. Unfortunately, the walls had serious damp and moisture problems, as clearly shown in the photos. We received no check-in instructions or information about collecting the keys. Nobody answered our calls for over an hour, and when someone finally responded, their attitude was indifferent and almost arrogant, as if we were bothering them. After more than two hours, we were told that the check-in message had failed to arrive. This could have been easily resolved if someone had simply answered the phone. The cleaning lady eventually welcomed us, but the apartment was still not ready, even at 4 PM. Very poor communication, unprofessional service, and unacceptable damp issues. I would not recommend this apartment.

Perfect apartment in the middle of Ortigia

The location is perfect, there are a lot of nice places nearby and you walk there through these medieval streets :) The apartment itself has a nice interior, a full-size stovetop with oven, coffee-machine and an AC unit. A fun part is the balcony in the shower :)

Maybe the fridge is a bit too noisy, but it didn't really bother me. Same for the AC unit (as it doesn't have the external block), but I had no reason to use it anyway - thick walls are keeping the good microclimate inside :)
