Great spacious apartment with beautiful balcony

Very spacious with 2 big bedrooms and bathrooms. The balcony is beautiful too. The wifi was very strong in the living room and balcony: internet speeds of 500mpbs + The area is very nice and quiet, but also close to the historic downtown area

Disappointing Stay-Inaccurate Listing Details and Very Poor Response from Host

Spacious

We had several significant issues with this apartment due to FALSE ADVERTISING and, unfortunately, with the host´s dismissive response to legitimate concerns and unwillingness to address these issues or offer any reasonable compensation. 1.NO AIR CONDITIONING despite it being listed as one of the amenities when I booked it. We specifically chose this property because we were traveling in August. The host should have informed us prior to our free-cancellation deadline that this amenity was no longer available. He claimed that it was once available and considered providing ONLY ONE FAN to be an adequate solution. With three people staying in two bedrooms during the August heat, it clearly was not. As a result, none of us slept well during our stay, which significantly affected our holiday. The least he could have done was to provide a second fan for us. 2. WORN BEDDING and UNPLEASANT SMELLING PILLOWS After the first night, I informed the host that the bed sheets were very worn and that the pillows had an unpleasant smell. Rather than addressing the concern, his response was "If you think they smell bad, it is certainly due to the misuse of whoever is using them right now." This was very inappropriate. A reasonable response to a guest raising a concern about the cleanliness or condition of bedding would have been to inspect it and, if necessary, replace it. 3. MOLDY BALCONY CUSHIONS and FALSE ADVERTISING about the SEA VIEW The cushions on the balcony were visibly covered with black mold. The view from the balcony and bedroom windows is an interior marina channel with a significant amount of algae that smells, enclosed by the neighboring buildings. It is NOT A SEA VIEW, as indicated on the listing. We would not recommend staying at this location, especially due to a host who is unwilling to address a guest´s legitimate concerns. There are plenty of other non-airconditioned, more reasonably priced apartments to stay in the area.

Great place to stay in Lagos

It was a great accomodation, extremely spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The location is at the end of the Marina de Lagos, so you need to take a short walk to the city center or to the beach, but the surroundings were safe, clean, nice. Big supermarket is nearby, also a lot of free of charge parking lots are available. And for the price, it is was just a great experience.

On the Booking.com page you don't get the exact address of the property from the homelord even if you pay immediately and it is more like AirBnB communication, so we felt initially very nervous if it is not a scam - nice place for great money in that area. On the other hand, the pin in the map shows the correct location and a day before the homelord contacted us via Whatsapp, sent instructions about how to get into the appartment and everything worked well in the end.

It was a great accomodation, extremely spacious, comfortable and well equipped.
