Good apartment & location let down by lack of care

Spacious & well located. Clean, comfortable & good hot water in showers

It was poorly equipped in terms of basic items such as mugs & toilet rolls. No tea towels. The dishwasher did not work & was not dealt with when reported. Bottom bedroom smelled of damp which aggravated one of our party’s asthma.

Huge mistake. Everything was broken; the host was aggressive.

Nothing. When we booked this accommodation, it had no ratings on Booking (it was new on the app); trusting a newly listed property was a mistake.

The host failed to deliver on both the advertised services and the commitments made via private message (on the Booking app) prior to our arrival. His treatment was also unacceptable. The apartment wasn't ready, even though we arrived 15 minutes after the promised and confirmed check-in time (it was 4:15 PM, and they were still cleaning). The access code didn't work at either check-in or check-out. The refrigerator, irons, several light bulbs, and the dishwasher were all broken; many things were damaged or poorly maintained. The microwave was "repaired" with electrical tape (we didn’t even tried to use it). We were left with five tiny bottles of shampoo and two partially used rolls of toilet paper for five people staying six nights; there was no hand soap, laundry detergent, or dish soap. The manager did send over essential supplies, but only after we complained. He then threatened to cancel our reservation (even though we were already there) because I wasn't grateful enough for the delivery. At that point, I noticed the listing had received ratings; when I pointed out the score was 6.7, he claimed that was an "excellent rating" (he doesn't seem interested in improving his services). Afterward, he stopped answering messages. The property spans three levels; the ground floor is just the entryway, requiring you to go up or down stairs to reach the bedrooms or the kitchen. Despite having two floors separated by the entrance level, only one fan was provided for the entire apartment (which lacks air conditioning), and even though we were in the middle of a heatwave, the host refused to provide another fan. One of the bathrooms is split into two separate rooms—one for the toilet and another for the sink and shower—which didn't match the photos. Only one shower could be used at a time because there wasn't enough hot water for both simultaneously.
