Great Potential, Falls Short

Excellent location in an absolutely gorgeous town. The apartment could be incredible, it's got character and has the ability to be something special.

The property was not clean at all. Blood on the headboard, on the floor beside the bed, on the wardrobe door. Dust everywhere. The rules mention being careful with the walls - however the walls are very badly marked already. There's a very strong smell on entering. Mosquitos is an issue from stagnant water on a neighbours roof, everywhere stuck to the walls are squashed ones from previous guests. The ceilings are covered in cobwebs. The kitchen wasn't clean, the single tea towel available was actually a pillow case. Two rolls of toilet paper for 5 days. I specifically did a filter search for a place with a washing machine. Arrived to find it had a big yellow sign on it saying out of order. Host pretended not to know when I mentioned it despite a review 4 weeks earlier saying it wasn't working. The day we arrived, we locked ourselves out of the apartment by mistake. I had left my phone inside (with all the codes). We spent 2 hours on the doorstep trying to get back in. No emergency number anywhere - left us wondering what happens in an emergency?? We knocked on neighbours doors, sent messages through my husbands booking.com - nothing. It was getting dark, started to think we would need to go to a hotel for the night when I tried the door code having remembered 4 of the 6 codes. Miraculously it opened after a few goes. I sent a message through booking.com to the host letting them know we had managed to get in. Nothing until 7.30am the next day. I was a host for 6 years on another platform and I cannot see how you can rent out a property without being contactable. In my message I mentioned the fact the apartment was not clean, lack of tea towel, minimal toilet paper and the washing machine. I was told sorry, asked to send photos of the issues - then not another word. The property could be fantastic, but far more attention needs to be taken in its presentation and maintenance.

ricevuto codice chiavi di accesso e istruzioni 2 giorni prima dell'arrivo.Appartamento spazioso e luminoso al secondo piano con ascensore che parte dalla corte privata dove è presente il posto auto dell'appartamento. quindi comodissimo per scaricare valigie.Zona tranquilla e silenziosa , vicinissima al centro.

De slaapkamer was erg vochtig doordat er geen ventilatie was en de douche zich in de slaapkamer bevind. Enige manier om te luchten is door het raam open te zetten, maar doordat er geen hor was, kwamen er veel muggen binnen.
