Great value for money.
Good location, central, nice area, good transport links (near 2 Tube stations, Bayswater on District and Circle, Queensway on Central) so easy access to tourist sites.
Attentive staff
Double + single bed so was able to book just one room for myself and 2 teenage kids
Kettle and Yorkshire tea in the room
Nice breakfast spots nearby, I can recommend Granier bakery.
Previous reviews were so positive that I think my expectations were too high for the price.
The room smelled of dirty socks even after a full day of airing. You don't notice it after a while, though.
Surfaces, bathroom etc were clean but some walls could use a wash or refresh (spill marks) as could carpet (but I hate carpets so could just be me)
