A lack of functionality and hospitality hidden behind a beautiful design

The location of the apartment is very convenient - close to the main sights, with many cafés nearby. Our room was spotlessly clean, and I liked the overall design of the apartment. The place has great potential; however, it seems that the owners care more about visual appeal than about improving the apartment to a level that would make it truly livable.

Unfortunately, a number of things were disappointing: 1) Our reservation clearly stated that we had rented a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen. However, in reality, it was a room in a shared apartment with a kitchen in the common area. The provided utensils were quite old, filthy, and not welcoming to use. 2) We hardly ever had hot water-only in the morning, and only enough for one very brief shower. The second person always had to take a cold shower. There was never any hot water during the day or in the evening. I assume there is a small boiler that fills up and heats only at night. 3) Our room faced a square where people gathered both during the day and at night. There was nonstop talking, laughing, screaming, and even dancing and clapping right under our windows. It was impossible to sleep. The windows not only lacked any sound insulation, but were also old and worn out, with large gaps. We stayed in March, so it was quite cold sleeping next to the window. 4) The host did not reply to any of my messages on Booking.com. To sum up, I do not know whether other rooms in the apartment face a quieter area, but the room we were given was absolutely impossible to stay in - too loud, too cold, and with no proper access to hot water. Last but not least, if you need a late check-out or want to leave your bags for a few hours before your flight, the prices are ridiculous. Luggage storage costs €25 per hour, and late check-out costs €60 per hour. They may have a business rationale for these prices, but I believe it is important for travelers to know that this place is not flexible in any way, and you will not receive support or even a reply from the owner. So, if you decide to book this property, rely only on what you see in the reviews and descriptions. Do not expect to be able to make any special requests after the reservation. Personally, I would not recommend choosing this place.
