The location was wonderful , it couldn’t have been more peaceful and the cabin was rustic but we enjoyed it very much !
The kitchen was limited in terms of space and design but it was o.k. The kitchen was a bit like glamping , a step up from camping .

Lovely place - easy to find, right in isolation but 3 minute walk to kalamitsi beach through the olive groves, 12 mins walk to town. Amazing outdoor space to watch the sunset. Clean and functional space.
Sometimes lacking hot water - only an issue when needed to wash hair or wash dishes. Sometimes it was there but sometimes it wasn’t.

The location was quiet and pleasant, a 5-minute drive outside of town, in an olive grove.
We were a small group assigned three bungalows. One bungalow, no.7, was pleasant and clean. The other two bungalows, nos. 4 and 5, particularly mine, no. 4, were not. I will focus on mine. It was not clean, in that the previous occupants had done heavy cooking, creating a stench that had soaked into the upholstery, the walls, even into the closets, the bedroom and the bathroom. Even though I opened the doors and windows for 3 days consecutively, and sprayed a room deodorant, the stench never left. From the first night, I complained, hoping to be changed out of the room. The house manager, Nick, never acknowledged this complaint. Furthermore several of the windows did not close properly, creating at night a sense of insecurity particularly since the location is isolated. Also, on the first night and into the next day we had no hot water. After my first effort to get hot water and after an initial response, Nick ghosted me. Since I speak Greek, eventually I spoke with someone who appeared to be a housekeeper, although the rooms were never cleaned nor were towels changed during our stay. She explained that the bungalows are dependent on solar heating, and since we had a day of rain, there was no hot water. Apparently, there is backup heating but no one had bothered to turn it on for us. The total lack of concern for our comfort, our inability to reach someone in case of need, the subpar conditions of the bungalows make them a risky choice for a comfortable holiday. BTW, apparently the owners of these bungalows also run a popular restaurant in town, Psaras. Needless to say, we did not eat any meals there over the 3 days of our visit to Kardamili.
