Located directly across from the cozy “Kleine Teestube,” our 145 m² vacation home is the perfect place to stay in Keitum.
Amenities
Built in 2019, “Haus Leafke” can accommodate up to 6 people. “Leafke” is a Frisian word meaning “darling” or “sweetheart.” You’ll find this affection for the house reflected on all three floors. Thanks to lovingly selected decor, coordinating furniture, and Sylt’s unique charm, you’ll immediately feel like you’re on vacation. The attention to detail is particularly evident in the beautifully coordinated colors, stylish door handles, and stunning artwork. But the high-quality, beautiful furniture from brands like Knoll, Occhio, and Schramm, the bright rooms, and the cozy herringbone parquet flooring with underfloor heating also create an atmosphere where you can’t help but feel at home.
Upon entering the vacation home, you’ll be greeted by a light-filled entryway with a small coat rack; from here, you’ll walk straight into the cozy dining and living area. To the left, you’ll find the custom-built oak kitchen, complete with a Nespresso capsule coffee machine and a spacious dining table. The right side invites you to relax with its cozy sofa and gas fireplace. Read a book or watch your favorite show on the flat-screen TV and unwind. From the living and dining area, you have direct access to the large garden, where you can enjoy the sun all day long. The terrace features a seating area where you can enjoy warm summer evenings. The garden also includes another seating area, sun loungers, and a beach chair—ideal for your first cup of coffee in the morning or for simply relaxing. There’s also a small shed in the garden where you can store your bicycles.
On the upper floor, the hallway features a work nook right by the window with a view of the little village of Keitum, as well as a bedroom and a guest room. To the right is a large bedroom with a 160 cm x 200 cm double bed, offering a beautiful view of the garden and roller blinds to block out the light. The bathroom features large gray tiles combined with oak cabinets and a large walk-in rain shower that makes you feel like you’re at a spa. In the guest room, you’ll find a cozy 160 cm x 200 cm sofa bed by Schramm, as well as a small TV and reading nook with a view of the garden and the thatched-roof neighboring houses.
In the basement, you’ll find a true oasis of well-being, featuring another bedroom with a 180 cm x 200 cm double bed and a cozy bathroom, just like on the upper floor. Here you’ll find a small sauna and fitness area with another walk-in shower, an exercise bike, and a yoga mat—ideal for cold days when you can unwind and relax. The adjacent bathroom also features a walk-in shower and large gray tiles. The entire lower level features floor-to-ceiling windows, which create a bright and cozy atmosphere. The bedroom is equipped with sheer curtains and a TV. There is also an utility room here with a washing machine, a Miele dryer, and a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
