The apartment is located on the first floor (accessible by elevator) in the front row between the beach and the city forest, with an idyllic pond directly behind the complex, from which you can reach the climbing garden in just a few minutes.
Even at breakfast, you can enjoy the view of the sea through the floor-to-ceiling windows during the winter months; in the summer, the blue of the Baltic Sea harmonizes with the green of the trees along the promenade, allowing the four of you to enjoy a breakfast on the balcony sheltered from the wind.
The interior design of the apartment in the “Dünenschloss” reflects its exclusive location. This is evident in the high-quality solid wood furniture, the elegant yet cozy leather sofa, the comfortable Loom armchairs, and the sophisticated decor (the paintings are originals). All tables feature granite tops, and designer lamps provide the necessary lighting in every room, just as you prefer. The floors are tiled throughout and additionally covered with rugs.
The master bedroom features a large closet that offers ample space for your wardrobe, as well as spare blankets in case it’s already too warm for the down comforters during the transitional season. Measuring 2.00 x 2.00 m, the bed offers plenty of comfort even for taller guests; the mattresses come in two firmness levels so that both men and women can find the right foundation for a restful night’s sleep after a day in the fresh Baltic Sea air, depending on their weight and preference. (The softer side is on the left and the firmer side on the right)
The small bedroom features a 1.90 x 0.90 m bed, with a second pull-out bed of nearly the same size underneath. Here, too, there is a full-sized, tall wardrobe. There is another flat-screen TV on the wall.
The bathroom, with its tall round shower, double sink, and heated towel rack, offers you the chance to start the day together.
When preparing breakfast, you’ll find everything you need in the kitchen to make a gourmet meal: a Tassimo and a traditional coffee maker, a kettle, an egg cooker, a toaster, a smoothie maker, a pancake mixer, and much more. Since the kitchen features an oven (and of course, baking pans!), a 60-series ceramic cooktop, a microwave, and a tabletop grill, there’s hardly any reason to eat out—though the numerous restaurants and cafés, all just a few minutes away, are definitely worth a visit! The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes and glasses for a wide variety of uses, so the full-size dishwasher doesn’t have to run after every meal.
If the weather isn’t cooperating, you’ll find a collection of games and a selection of books, and there’s a free Wi-Fi hotspot.
From May through September, you’re welcome to use the apartment owners’ beach chair free of charge. The beach chair is not included in the rental agreement.
If you have laundry to do, you’ll find a washing machine and a dryer (coin-operated) in the basement. You can safely store your bicycle in the bike storage room, which is also accessible from the outside via a ramp. There is also a bike rental service right next door.
This apartment is strictly non-smoking!
The swimming pool is closed during the 3rd and 4th calendar weeks for maintenance.
The swimming pool, sauna, and fitness room are not included in the rental agreement but may be used free of charge.
Please note that during the peak season, you must book a continuous stay or leave a minimum gap of 7, 10, or 14 nights between bookings.[nbsp]
The minimum stay over the New Year’s holiday is 4 nights.
Both utility costs and the parking space are already included in the room rate.
