Visitor’s tax in Zierow
From January 1 through December 31 of each year, a visitor’s tax is charged in the municipality of Zierow. This tax is remitted by the rental property owner to the municipality of Zierow. Please note that the visitor’s tax must be paid on site upon key pickup for the booked period.

Our “Meerblick” vacation rental—WE 33 (98 sqm)—is located on the first floor of an apartment building. From the furnished balcony, you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea all the way to the island of Poel. The spacious living room, which opens onto the balcony, features a cozy sitting area from which you can also gaze out at the Baltic Sea. The apartment has two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds). A travel crib and a high chair are also provided. A flat-screen TV and a stereo system provide entertainment. The separate kitchen was completely renovated in 2016 and is fully equipped: refrigerator, freezer, ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker/coffee pod machine, toaster, electric kettle, and a full set of dishes. It features a spacious seating area where you can sit together comfortably while eating.
A washing machine is included.
Two reserved parking spaces (No. 14) are located directly in front of the house.
This is a non-smoking apartment.

Special features
Our guests can also use the facilities of the neighboring 4-star Ostseecamping vacation park, subject to availability. These include, for example, children’s activities and dance events in the summer. There is also a wellness area with a sauna, a small swimming pool, and physical therapy. In the immediate vicinity, there is a small grocery store, restaurants, cafés, a bowling alley, an indoor playground, and a horse ranch. Just a 5-minute drive from Zierow in Gägelow is the MEZ, a large shopping center with about 50 stores, doctors’ offices, a pharmacy, and more.
You’ll also find two snack stands right outside the door, as well as a mini-golf course on the sandy beach monitored by the DLRG. The Zierow Riding Stables and the Eggers Pony Farm are located in the immediate vicinity. In Hohen Wieschendorf, just 6 km away, there is an 18-hole golf course. For guests who want to take to the skies, the Wismar airfield offers an exciting range of recreational activities.
And should the weather ever be unsuitable for outdoor activities, the “WONNEMAR” leisure and water park in Wismar offers the perfect opportunity for relaxation and fun-filled days. We recommend a visit to the beautiful state capital of Schwerin, which is just a 30-minute drive away.

The vacation apartments are located in the state-recognized resort town of Zierow on the Baltic Sea.
The Zierow beach is a DLRG-certified beach that is particularly child-friendly due to its shallow waters. The Baltic Sea beach features a beautiful new playground with plenty of play equipment, a beach shower, and a wooden pier. Free Wi-Fi is also available here on the beach.
