About this house rental
A spacious, self-contained two-bedroom suite ideal for families, couples, groups, and extended stays. Enjoy North Vancouver nature and outdoor adventures, while Downtown Vancouver is just a 20–25 minute drive away. Deep Cove, Cates Park, and Mt. Seymour are all within a 5-minute drive. Walk to Parkgate Village, a rec centre, Seymour Golf & Country Club, and nearby parks. A bus stop is right in front of the house, and free parking is included. Enjoy the huge private covered patio and backyard.
THE PROPERTY: FAMILY-FRIENDLY SPACE
This self-contained ground-level suite offers approximately 850 sq ft of indoor living space. It features a separate entrance, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and four beds and a comfortable sofa bed, including a folding floor mattress and a futon. A travel cot (Nuna Sena Graphite Travel Crib) and a high chair (Peg perego/Siesta) are available upon request for families travelling with little ones :)
The fully equipped kitchen includes essential cookware, dishes, utensils, and a dishwasher, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy family dining during your stay.
The suite also includes a private in-suite washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided for your convenience.
Guests have exclusive access to a huge private covered patio of over 900 sq ft and a private grassy garden—perfect for relaxing, outdoor dining, and spending time together.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This listing is for a private guest suite, not the entire house. Guests have exclusive access to the suite with a separate entrance. The entrance is located via the side pathway to the left side of the house. We live upstairs, so you may occasionally hear normal household sounds. You may also see us tending to the garden. We respect our guests’ privacy and aim to provide a comfortable stay.
The suite is maintained at a comfortable temperature year-round with central heating and air conditioning. If you need a temperature adjustment during your stay, please let us know—we are happy to help. Extra blankets are also provided.
EXPLORE THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
A perfect home base for exploring Deep Cove, the North Shore, Vancouver, and Whistler. Guests especially enjoy the peaceful forest path located just a few houses away—a lovely walk through the woods and a quiet escape from city life. Follow the trail straight ahead, and you’ll see a sign directing you toward Deep Cove. This scenic shortcut offers a convenient and enjoyable walking route into the village.
For the return trip, you can either walk back along the same trail (good exercise!) or take the #211 bus from Deep Cove. The bus stops conveniently right in front of the house.
We often enjoy walking to Deep Cove and taking the bus back!
Cates Park is also within walking distance, and several hidden neighbourhood trails connect the surrounding areas and offer wonderful opportunities to explore.
Nearby Mt. Seymour features beautiful forest trails for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring. During winter, Mt. Seymour becomes a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding.
Golf enthusiasts will also appreciate having Seymour Golf & Country Club and Northlands Golf Course within walking distance.

This place was amazing. The back patio and yard were stunning with a nice walkout to a fenced area with gorgeous hydrangeas and these trees that sort of grew directly thru the modified wooden fence. It was in a great wooded area neighborhood close to Deep Cove (a very cool area) and directly on a bus line that took us anywhere in Vancouver. There was also a little business district within walking distance with coffee shop, bread store, grocery etc. Matt and Jenny were awesome. Their property was immaculate and they responded immediately to any of our questions with great help and information. Possibly the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Would definitely come back here if we were in Vancouver.

This is a cozy and immaculate suite and the hosts are lovely. The beds are really comfortable, the linens all new and the kitchen is well appointed. Great location too.

Beautiful and cosy apartment in great location for exploring North Vancouver and Deep Cove. Matt and Jenny were really friendly and helpful. We have stayed here twice and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful and comfortable place to stay.
