About This Space

👏 Welcome to King’s Gate, a private historic home in the heart of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Built in 1914 and thoughtfully renewed in 2025, King’s Gate combines the character of a historic home with the comfort of a modern private retreat.
During the renovation, we discovered old newspapers hidden inside the walls, once used as insulation and sealing material. It was a fascinating glimpse into the history of this home and the people who lived here before us.

Please note: The BBQ and outdoor dining area are seasonal and are generally unavailable from late October through April.

NO FOOD OR EATING IN THE BEDROOMS.

Please also respect our historic neighbourhood and neighbours.

Quiet hours: 10 PM–7 AM.
BBQ hours: 8 AM–10 PM.

Exterior security cameras are present for property security.

The basement and garage are not accessible to guests.

🗑️ Every Friday before 8:00 a.m., our cleaning team will quietly access the backyard or garage to place the garbage at the curb, without disturbing your rest.
