Our vacation rental welcomes you with modern furnishings as well as the period features of our beautiful home. Old, stately ceilings, creaking beams, and spacious living areas invite you to linger. The theme of “nature” has been incorporated and runs like a common thread through the rooms. In the living room, you can relax after an eventful day of vacation, and in the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for cooking while looking out the window at the Staffelberg. Bed linens are included in the bedrooms, and we also provide towels. From the terrace, you have direct, step-free access to the garden. If you’re looking for a little something to do in the evening, you’re sure to find just the right thing—for young and old alike—in our book and game cabinet. Our beautiful half-timbered house is located at the foot of the Staffelberg, nestled in the wonderful Gottesgarten, in the quiet yet central district of Horsdorf. Experience the charm of a house built in 1688 in our vacation rental, combined with modern amenities within the apartment itself. Numerous hiking trails start right from the house, and mountain bikers, cyclists (Main Valley Bike Path), and Nordic walking enthusiasts will all find plenty to enjoy. The numerous lakes in the area offer plenty of opportunities for water sports and swimming; there’s even a SUP and canoe route (Gelbe Welle) that invites you to enjoy active recreation on the Main River. For relaxation, the Obermain Therme—Bavaria’s warmest and most concentrated thermal brine—is the perfect spot. The local attractions, including Vierzehnheiligen, Staffelberg, and Klosterbanz, as well as the surrounding towns with their castles and palaces, will let you see your vacation destination in a whole new light. Bad Staffelstein (Horsdorf district) is located directly on the A 73 highway and is therefore very easy to reach by car. The train station is about 2 km away, and the bus stop is right across from our vacation home. If you’d like to explore the nightlife after a day of adventures, there’s plenty to offer in the towns and at local restaurants. Our Franconia region is known for its festivals and celebrations throughout the year, so you’re sure to find something to your liking here in our region of culinary delights. We look forward to your visit! Pets are not allowed. A children’s crib and a pull-out couch can be provided upon request as additional sleeping arrangements. A high chair can also be provided. The deposit is 100% of the accommodation price. Check-in is available between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Check-out is available between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Keys will be handed over in person on site. Tourist tax: Adults: 2.00 EUR per person; Teens (ages 14–17): 1.50 EUR per person; Children (ages 0–13): free. Check-in and check-out times can also be arranged individually.
