Under the stars of the Swiss Alps, just steps from the ski slopes, this idyllic chalet offers a peaceful and relaxing stay for the whole family. Nestled among fir trees and mountain peaks, you'll be transported to Heidi's world. The enchanting panorama promises a beautiful escape in the Swiss Alps: before you, by the crackling fireplace, the serenity of the mountains awaits, after a day of sports or relaxation, listening to the murmur of the little stream that flows past the terrace. Located at an altitude of 1500 meters, the chalet is just a few hundred meters from the slopes and 500 meters from the "Les Masses" chairlift, which connects to the superb 4 Vallées ski area. Access to the chairlift is via the Bisse d'Hérémence, a charming, flat path that allows skiers to reach the slopes when there is ample snow. The chalet is therefore practically "ski-in/ski-out." Please note that there is also the option of leaving your skis in lockers at the base of the chairlift. Another alternative is to take the free shuttle bus to the Thyon 2000 ski area or the ESS (Essential Ski School). At the base of the Les Masses chairlift (in the Les Collons area), you will also find shops (grocery store, sports shop, restaurant, wine bar, etc.). In this vibrant heart of the village, you can enjoy a relaxing stay in a wellness center with an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub, as well as tennis courts. The chalet is accessible by car or bus from Sion. The Grands Bains d'Hérémence, a thermal spa fed by rare sulfurous water in the Swiss Alps, offers a unique wellness experience open to everyone and is located on the slope leading down to the Masses chairlift. The thermal waters of Combioulaz spring forth at the bottom of the Val d'Hérens. This is one of the most important hot spring sites in Switzerland: no fewer than 81 springs emerge from the rocks with temperatures reaching 25 to 29 °C. These springs have always been known by the valley's inhabitants for their curative properties. The thermal complex includes one indoor and one outdoor pool with various attractions, three jacuzzi areas, and a wellness area offering a variety of treatments. All these facilities are open to the public, and it's possible to be both on the mountain skiing and relaxing in the baths on the same day. Accessible on foot from the chalet, you have access to a more intimate version of this thermal center, the Lumen Spa, which can accommodate around forty people. In summer, you'll find mountain biking trails and superb hikes that can take you on foot to the Grande Dixence educational dam or the surprising pyramids of Euseigne, geological curiosities formed by glacial erosion. Whether you stroll along almost flat paths (the bisses) or conquer steep trails, all possibilities are open to you, but you'll always be rewarded with a splendid panorama!
