emplacement idéal au cœur de la cité médiévale - quartier calme, pittoresque, très propre et sécure - proche du centre et de la marina, des restaurants, arrêts de bus et ferry
climatisation très bruyante - ustensiles de cuisine à renouveler ( casseroles, etc..) - forte odeur d'humidité dans l'appartement venant du dessous d'évier - chaises pliantes peu confortables - très peu de mouvement possible dans la cuisine ( très exiguë)

We absolutely loved the location of this property; it was right in the heart of Birgu without being noisy or too busy. It was extremely easy to get to everywhere we needed to go (fyi we had a car so did not rely on public transport). There were plenty of restaurants and a couple of shops for supplies close by (most about 5-10 min walk away).
The check-in process was as smooth as they come with a self check-in and all of the required information sent prior.
The room itself was light and spacious and had AC. We did have a fair few mosquitoes but there’s nothing the owner can do about that. The bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and the owner even left some very yummy coffee pods which really were a lovely touch and much appreciated.
There were two things that unfortunately slightly let this gorgeous place down:
- Firstly, although a private bathroom and kitchen, they are on a different floor to the bedroom. This isn’t a big issue rather than an inconvenience, especially at nighttime.
- Secondly, the accommodation states free parking which is technically true but quite misleading. The property does not have a private parking spot nor a permit for you to use. Instead, you must park the car on the street and hope you find a free parking spot. Most parking spots are free in the area but have very inconvenient times so we had to move the car a fair few times. I can only imagine how hellish it may be to find a spot in peak summer.

Emplacement idéal dans Birgu, quartier magnifique avec commerces et excellents restaurants à proximité. Lit très confortable. Réactivité correcte pour remplacer le grille-pain et réparer la machine à laver.
Très grosse déception. Le logement est présenté comme un duplex privé de 65 m² avec espace détente et terrasse, mais cela ne correspond pas du tout à la réalité.
Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a simplement une pièce avec la cuisine et une minuscule salle de bain d’environ 1 m², sans aucun espace pour poser ses affaires. Nous avons dû tout entreposer dans la cuisine, qui s’est donc transformée en espace de rangement plus qu’en vraie cuisine. Les ustensiles et casseroles étaient sales et de très mauvaise qualité. La cafetière à l'italienne plein de moisissures (photo ci jointe). Seule chaise sur "balcon chambre", très sale .Aucun matériel pour nettoyage hormis un balai d'enfant...
À l’étage, une autre porte avec une autre clé donne accès à la chambre. Les occupants du deuxième étage passaient devant notre chambre, la cuisine et la salle de bain pour accéder à la terrasse et à “l’espace détente”. Cet espace apparaît pourtant comme privé aussi bien sur notre annonce que sur celle du deuxième étage… aucune intimité ni réelle sensation d’avoir un logement privatif.
La terrasse n’était pas aménagée du tout (pas une chaise) et le canapé de l’espace détente était peu confortable. Le flexible de douche était cassé : nous avons dû en racheter un nous-mêmes, sans proposition de remboursement malgré le signalement au propriétaire.
Plusieurs interlocuteurs dont Mattews qui n'a pas du tout pris en considération nos remarques, qui nous a fait perdre un temps incroyable avec ses messages qui ne servaient à rien...
