About this house rental
L'Isola dei Cavalli is a 140-square-meter vacation rental located within a horse ranch in Manziana—a unique option for those seeking a total immersion in nature. Rented on an exclusive basis, the house is located on the first floor, accessible via a flight of stairs, and comfortably accommodates up to 11 people—the ideal choice for large families or groups of friends. The riding center features other independent cottages and a staff always on hand to tend to the garden, pool, and horses, ensuring your stay is taken care of down to the last detail.
Guests can enjoy a large shared green area with a gazebo, where horses and other animals roam freely, shared with the staff and other guests of the riding center. The property also features a wood-fired oven, a barbecue, and a small in-ground pool, the latter reserved exclusively for guests of the house (open from June through September). Out of respect for the well-being of the animals on the property, pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash in the shared outdoor areas.
The property features an entryway leading to the kitchen and dining area, as well as a spacious living room with a fireplace and a French bed. The sleeping area includes three spacious bedrooms: the first bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed; the second bedroom has a double bed and a queen-size sofa bed; and the third bedroom has two single beds.
The apartment has two bathrooms—one with a shower and the other with a bathtub—and provides a crib for infants.
For larger groups, we add a double sleeper sofa in the living room and a sleeper chair in the bedroom, ensuring there’s enough space for everyone. We are, however, available to consider different layouts based on your specific request prior to arrival.
The location is extraordinary for nature lovers; in fact, Isola dei Cavalli borders a 600-hectare nature reserve of woodland. Manziana is famous for its Bosco Macchia Grande and its proximity to the Caldara di Manziana. In just a few minutes by car, you can reach Lake Bracciano; the Stigliano Thermal Baths and the coast (Castello di Santa Severa) are 15 minutes away, making this home the perfect base for recharging in the heart of the Lazio countryside.
