Appartment almost unusable: Electric fault, no internet, important furniture and accessories missing
Relativeley new appartment within nice compound
In summary one can say that the apartment’s usability is greatly reduced. For some probably maybe even unusable
There is an issue with electricity in that numerous combinations of electrical appliance-use cause a power outage due to overload with dripping circuit breakers. E.g. more than two air conditioning units or without any a/c unit on, dish washer and water cooker, or dishwasher and washing machine etc. The circuit brakers are in the basement, and one must go down 4 floors to reset. There is a flaw in the installation as one can notice a light acrid smell.
Unrelated to the above the internet was not working and could not be fixed throughout or stay.
The living room cannot be used as such as there is bluntly no table in it.
Same for the terrace - simply no table there
The showers are cumbersome to use - no trays or shelves - shampoo, shaver etc must be placed on the floor, no hand soap at the sinks.
One of the night desk lights didn’t work
The coffee maker is functional but leaking, of note there was one symbolic capsule of coffee provided
Important kitchen utensils like a turner, cooking spoon, ladle, bottle opener missing
No dishwasher tab, or washing machine detergent
The CO Monitor had nuisance short beep alarms, probably empty batteries
There is a nice fountain square in front of the compound with seating stones which we had to cross on the way to the apartment. They seating stones are used mostly in the evenings by numerous people. On occasion they left significant amounts of garbage there which ruined this nice place to an extent. Some of the male people stared so obviously at my wife and daughter that it was felt obtrusive. Sorry to say, but those that we observed doing this throughout our 4 days stay wore thobes.
Due to the large number of issues and the obvious impossibility of some to fix and also not wanting to use our vacation time with lengthy dialogues with the owner, we did not address every detail with them during our stay.
