Looking for a vacation where comfort, care, and togetherness take center stage? Welcome to 't Huysje van Klippel—a fully wheelchair-accessible care vacation home, specially designed for guests with intensive care needs. Here, you can enjoy peace, space, and the right facilities with family or friends, without sacrificing a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Space for everyone (8–10 people)
The home is spacious and practically laid out, so that everyone feels comfortable. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, including a unique combination of a bedroom and a living area. This is ideal when someone is in bed but still wants to be part of the group. Adjacent to this is an additional bedroom, ensuring that care is close at hand even at night.
The accessible bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink completes the comfort. There is also an additional separate toilet in the hallway.
Enjoying time together, even indoors
The spacious kitchen-diner forms the heart of the home, featuring a cozy dining area and a sitting area. While someone takes a quick rest, there’s still plenty of room for the rest of the group. For children, there’s a play corner and a play loft, and teens can retreat to their own chill-out space in the garage.
Upstairs, you’ll find four more bedrooms and an additional bathroom. One bedroom has its own sitting area—perfect, for example, for a caregiver who is staying with the family and needs some privacy.
Outdoor Living & Farm Experience
Outside, you can enjoy a glass-enclosed sunroom, a spacious terrace, and a large lawn (partially fenced). For the children, there are plenty of play options, such as a trampoline, slide, and sandbox.
The house is located next to a charming farm, where young and old alike can experience authentic country life. Feed the goats, help care for the horses (under supervision), or enjoy a guided tour filled with stories about farm life and the history of the place.
