A scam waiting to be taken off Booking
It was the worse experience I have had. He tried to scam us by not responding to any of our inquiries about how to check in. After Booking got in touch with the host, he still did not respond. After our reservation got cancelled, he tried to argue that he had "overbooked" the property, although our group was already in Alicante. We were forced to leave Madrid on the same day as a result. Terrible. Most likely a scam.

A nightmare den. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN NOW.
This isn’t a tourist apartment—it’s a biohazard zone where filth, neglect, and squalor reach criminal levels. No human should ever have to stay here.
What I found (and why this place should be BANNED):
Bathroom: Human excrement smeared on the shower walls, hair clogging the drain, shower tray, and sink, black mold creeping between the tiles, and a general stench of decay. Showering? This is a health risk.
Kitchen: Drawers caked in unspeakable grime, rusted utensils, sticky cutlery, and a sink that reeks of rotten food. “Fully equipped”? Yes, but every item is filthy and potentially hazardous. Cooking here would be more hygienic than eating off the floor.
Bedroom: Bed linens with suspicious stains and towels that look like they were pulled from a dumpster. Washed? Don’t make me laugh.
The host: a shameless criminal
Absolute silence. No reply, no apology, no attempt to fix the disaster. A host who ignores guests in these conditions is a FRAUDSTER.
Deliberate deception. The listing lies through its teeth—this isn’t an apartment, it’s a trap for the desperate.
Final verdict: REPORT, BOYCOTT, AND DEMAND THIS DIVE BE SHUT DOWN
Marina Alicante Apartments is an insult to decency, hygiene, and basic human dignity. It’s not accommodation—it’s a health hazard. If you stay here, you’re not just ruining your trip—you’re gambling with your well-being.
