The property was beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious, and in a fantastic location. It comfortably accommodated all of our needs and was thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bathrooms included complimentary toiletries.
The location was another highlight, with easy walking access to Bilbao’s Old Town (Casco Viejo), the Guggenheim Museum, the riverfront, and numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops. Public transportation, including buses, trams, and the metro, was also conveniently accessible, making it easy to explore the city.
Overall, the apartment offered a wonderful combination of comfort, convenience, and location, making it an excellent home base for our stay in Bilbao.
A couple of things to note: The bedroom at the front of the apartment can be quite noisy, as there are several bars directly outside that stay open late into the night.
The other concern was the parking garage. Both the garage and ramp are extremely narrow and difficult to navigate. While the listing specifies a maximum vehicle height, it does not mention any restrictions on vehicle length. The ramp leading down to Level 2 is particularly tight and realistically only suitable for small, compact vehicles. Larger vehicles risk scraping against the walls or getting stuck with very little room to maneuver. I would strongly recommend clarifying the vehicle size limitations in the listing to help future guests avoid potential damage to their cars.
That said, the property managers were very kind, responsive, and accommodating. They promptly addressed our parking concerns by offering to reimburse us for alternative parking arrangements, which we greatly appreciated.
