ALPENLOFT Gerlitzen
Your mountain retreat in every season. Welcome to ALPENLOFT Gerlitzen, your spacious retreat right next to the Gerlitzen ski slopes and hiking trails. The approximately 110 m² apartment offers plenty of space for families and groups of friends. Two cozy bedrooms, a bright living room with a pull-out sofa bed, an inviting dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen create a relaxed atmosphere. The bathroom and private infrared sauna offer additional comfort after active days in the mountains. The large south-facing terrace with an adjoining lawn provides wonderful hours of sunshine and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. A carport, sports locker, boot dryer, grill, as well as sleds and bobsleds are available free of charge.
Winter
In winter, you can hit the slopes right from your front door. Snowshoe hikes, cozy evenings in mountain huts, and the perfect location right on the slopes make the ALPENLOFT the ideal starting point for a relaxing or active winter vacation.
Summer
In summer, the private garden invites you to enjoy relaxing moments—including barbecue facilities available for cozy evenings outdoors. Right outside the door lies the Kanzelhöhe Adventure Arena with a variety of play and activity areas, themed trails, and adventure stations. The Gerlitzen region offers an extensive network of hiking trails, panoramic routes, mountain bike trails, and paragliding opportunities.
With the Summer Carinthia Card, which is available to our guests free of charge throughout their stay, you can take the gondola once a day for free. Down below, Lake Ossiach awaits you with its warm waters—ideal for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, or a sightseeing cruise with the Lake Ossiach Boat Service. Thanks to the KärntenCard, you can visit numerous other attractions—such as mountain railways, scenic roads, museums, zoos, and water parks—for free or at a significantly reduced rate. The Villach Region Experience Card also allows for free use of many public transportation options.
