As you climb the ancient stairs of the Penninata San Gennaro, you’ll come across gardens and urban vegetable patches—a special, peaceful, and relaxed spot right in the heart of the famous Sanità neighborhood. Relax in this tranquil setting, enjoy the view, and feel the gentle breeze. The gardens below bring a breath of nature right into the city center. The charming staircase leading to the apartment has about 94 wide, low steps. Long ago, these stairs led to Capodimonte, but that passage has since been closed. Just a few meters away, you’ll find an excellent café, deli, and pastry shop, as well as a large supermarket; there are also small grocery stores and fruit stands, plus a 24-hour secure paid parking garage.
