A beautiful house from the outside, but a neglected and poorly cleaned inside

The location was the only thing we liked. The house looked beautiful from the outside and initially gave us a very positive impression. Unfortunately, what we found inside was completely different.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. We felt as though the owners had simply made an extra part of their house available for rent without properly preparing it for guests. Inside the bedroom, there was a rubbish bin containing leftover food and small flies flying around it. When we informed the owners, they explained that the previous guests had left it dirty and that it had probably not been cleaned properly. However, ensuring that a room is clean before new guests arrive is the responsibility of the hosts, regardless of what previous visitors may have left behind. The room also smelled of dampness, and the overall space felt neglected and uncomfortable. Just outside the bedroom was a laundry area with washing machines, reinforcing the impression that this was an improvised accommodation rather than a properly prepared guest room. The owners sent us an SMS offering the use of their upstairs kitchen, which we appreciated in principle. However, given the condition of our room, we did not feel comfortable using other parts of the house. Instead of enjoying our stay, we simply wanted to get through the night, get some sleep and leave as soon as possible.
