Sehr anmutige, ruhige Selbstversorger-Wohnung für 1-2 Personen mit sehr grossem Bad und insgesamt reichhaltiger Ausstattung, Top Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Perfekt für Frühstück sowie Dinner mit AAA-Steak, Pasta und Gemüse - obwohl nur Alu-Pfannen vorhanden. Lage ca. 10 Minuten außerhalb von Kaleden beim Golfresort Twin Lakes (HW 3A), für mich als Autofahrer kein Problem, da ich jeden Tag im Umkreis von 50-80 km sowieso viel unterwegs war. Tip: Lebensmittel in Pentincton besorgen (z.B. SafeWay) sowie Flüssiges im BCL oder auf den Weingütern rund um Oliver. Gastgeber reagiert schnell auf Anfragen.
Romantische Einliegerwohnung - leider ohne Aussicht. Wohnung war insgesamt sehr sauber gereinigt, v.a. Böden, Oberflächen, Bad, Schlafzimmer. Aber: in einigen Schubläden, Besteckkasten, oder an etwas schwerer zu erreichenden Flächen war teilweise deutlich Staub/Schmutz zu sehen, sowie Haare von Vorgängern in der Fön-Schublade (evtl. selten bewohnt). Grösstes Manko waren aber die unsauberen Rotweingläser (Schlieren, Kalk und Depot), für mich ein No-Go. Und zur angemessenen Ausstattung fehlte ein Gemüseschäler. Fazit: mit etwas mehr Sauberkeit und Grips hätte ich diese Wohnung mit 9+ bewertet. Und zum fehlenden Ausblick kann man sich etwas überlegen…
