Ideal for those seeking tranquility and authenticity, the house is located in the heart of Grassano, a hillside village in the center of Basilicata. Just 30 minutes from Matera, it’s the perfect base for exploring the area and returning in the evening to the quiet of a genuine village. Here you can enjoy an experience far removed from mass tourism, surrounded by sweeping views, a slow pace of life, and an authentic atmosphere. The property is completely independent with direct access to the main street. Ideal for families and groups of up to 7 people. The spacious interior allows for a relaxing stay with all the comforts of a real home: a dining room with a sleeper sofa, a master bedroom, two bedrooms with single beds, a kitchen-dining area, two bathrooms, and two balconies. Extra beds can be added upon request. Guests have exclusive use of the entire house. Privacy and comfort are guaranteed. You can park for free along the street and in the square, and the entrance to the house is just a short walk away.

On the main street and in the surrounding area, you’ll find convenient local businesses (bars, restaurants, tobacco shops) and cultural sites (Palazzo Materi, Grassano’s permanent nativity scene, Piazza Purgatorio, and the Mother Church). The famous stone bench in front of the house tells the story of the town’s main street. The City of the Sassi is just 30 minutes from the property. This allows you to visit Matera without staying in the hustle and bustle of the historic center.
