About this house rental
Located in Cholonge, a charming village at mid-altitude at the foot of the Grand Serre and in the heart of the Matheysine region, Maison Serrioux is a true haven of peace. It’s the perfect place to recharge, spend time with family or friends, and create cherished memories.
“Serrioux” is the name given in the local dialect to the Grand Serre, the iconic feature of the surrounding landscape.
This former family farm has been completely renovated to become a cozy retreat with the feel of a family home. The exposed stone walls and wooden beams have been highlighted, creating an atmosphere that is both authentic and welcoming. Each room, decorated in soft, harmonious colors, invites you to relax.
Designed for your comfort year-round, the house is equipped with heat pump-powered underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, and eco-friendly thermal and acoustic insulation.
Outside, a large garden surrounded by nature, complete with a pétanque court, invites you to relax and spend time together. From the terrace, you can admire the Grand Serre, whose colors change with the seasons.
Maison Serrioux can comfortably accommodate 9 to 10 people year-round, for short or extended stays. It is available as a vacation rental or as guest rooms for 2 to 4 people with access to the common areas.
