The Seig-Hochalm, at an altitude of 1,600 m, is your private mountain retreat in Saalbach Hinterglemm —situated just below the Bernkogel summit and far away from the hustle and bustle and the glaring city lights. From the spacious terrace and the cozy hot tub, you’ll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Alpine mountains: from the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern to the Hochkönig and on to the Steiniernes Meer. At night, you can admire the crystal-clear starry sky here and maybe even catch a glimpse of a shooting star.

This detached alpine chalet spans the first floor and first floor and can accommodate up to 10 people. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay. You can book this cabin for up to 10 people. The size and spacious layout ensure privacy when desired, while the large living room offers plenty of space for cozy get-togethers and “hoagaschtn” (chatting and having fun).
There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, electric kettle,.... Table linens, bed linens, and towels are also provided.

The location is ideal for active vacationers: you’ll be staying right next to the ski lift and just a few steps away from hiking and biking trails. In winter, the snow beckons you to go skiing; in summer, sunny high-altitude hiking trails and mountain bike tours invite you to explore the mountain landscape. The spacious garden, complete with patio furniture and a barbecue area, is perfect for relaxing. Free parking is available on-site, and you can store your bike in the bike rack.

The house is pet-friendly. Wi-Fi and internet keep you connected, should you wish. Guests benefit from eco-friendly features such as solar panels, an energy-efficient heating system, electricity from 100 percent renewable sources, and sustainable cleaning products. Towels and bed linens can be reused multiple times, and drinking water is provided.

Getting there:
In summer: You can drive all the the way to the alpine hut in a four-wheel-drive vehicle with sufficient ground clearance. The alpine hut is 4 km from our farm. Please contact us if you do not have a suitable vehicle.
In winter: In winter, you can reach the alpine hut via a gondola and a short ski run. Please arrive at our farm by 3:00 p.m. at the latest so you can catch the last gondola. We’ll take your luggage to the hut.

Hot Pot/Tiled Stove: Wood for the hot pot and the tiled stove is provided free of charge. You’re welcome to light the fire yourself. We’ll be happy to give you tips if you’d like.

Food: Since this is a self-catering cabin, we ask that you bring ALL your own food!

Beverage delivery service: You can order beverages from us in advance (beer, sodas, water). We’ll deliver them to the cabin.
