About this bed and breakfast
Sometimes, getting away means finding a place where the world slows down and there’s nowhere else you need to be. Welcome to The Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary is tucked above the garage of the Storykeeper, the neighboring main residence.
The hot tub, barbecue grill, garden front patio with propane fire pit are shared outdoor amenities, so you may occasionally cross paths with guests staying at StoryKeeper.
That’s part of the charm of Sundance. It’s a place for peaceful solitude, but also for unexpected conversations and connections.
And who knows? You might even meet your new best friend.
Come for a little escape. Leave with a little more of yourself.
Should you want additional space the Sanctuary and StoryKeeper can be reserved together. Bringing everyone close while giving some guests a cozy retreat of their own. Contact host for availability.
Tucked into the trees beneath Mount Timpanogos, this intimate mountain retreat was made for slowing down. Wake beneath vaulted wood beams with the forest just beyond the windows, spend the day exploring Sundance, or settle in for a quiet day surrounded by the mountains.
Warm mountain character meets thoughtful modern comfort throughout the open, light-filled space. A plush king bed sits beneath expansive windows that bring the surrounding forest into view, while a dramatic stone gas fireplace anchors the living area—the perfect place to unwind after skiing, hiking, or a day spent simply enjoying the mountain.
The full kitchen makes everything from slow breakfasts to longer stays easy, with a cozy dining nook surrounded by windows. High-speed internet provides the flexibility to work remotely, while air conditioning, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a spacious bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower make extended stays especially comfortable.
One of the home’s most memorable surprises is tucked above it all. Climb the ladder to discover a playful twin sleeping nook and continue upward to the hidden outlook, where windows frame beautiful views across the valley and toward Mount Timpanogos.
The retreat comfortably sleeps up to four, making it equally inviting for a weekend escape, ski trip, extended mountain stay, or simply a change of scenery.
After a day of adventure, unwind in the shared hot tub beneath the trees before retreating inside for a firelit evening.
Come for the skiing, hiking, dining and mountain adventure. Stay for the quiet mornings, forest views, and the feeling of being completely wrapped in the mountains.
Please note: The hot tub is shared with the neighboring main home.
A signed rental agreement is required before check-in instructions are released.
The larger side of the house is a separate rental unit. The hot tub and propane fireplace are shared with those guests; please be respectful of noise and leave both areas clean after use.
