Wooded, residential lakefront neighborhood on Lake Arrowhead’s West Shore. Character: mountain-cabin and chalet-style vacation homes, mature pine forest, lake access points and private docks nearby. Nearby points: Lake Arrowhead Village (shops, restaurants, boat rentals, events) ~5–10 minutes by car; Heaps Peak Arboretum and local trails within a short drive; SkyPark at Santa’s Village and Running Springs are 15–25 minutes depending on route. Vibe: relaxed, family-oriented vacation community with seasonal visitor peaks (summer and winter holiday weekends).
Most guests rely on a car—the area is not highly walkable except along short lakeside stretches. Expect narrow, steep, two‑lane mountain roads and limited street parking in busier seasons. Rideshare coverage is sporadic on the mountain; renting a car is recommended. Public transit options: Mountain Transit (RIM routes) provides scheduled shuttle/bus service between San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead; service is limited so check timetables in advance.
