About this bed and breakfast
Bring the family or two couples and have our whole guest floor to yourselves. Seaside Suites is a self-contained level of a character home in Crofton, a quiet seaside village on Vancouver Island, steps from the ocean, Crofton Boardwalk and the Salt Spring Island ferry.
THE SUITES: The Croft Suite, our largest room, has a king bed that converts to two twins and a private ensuite with a shower. The Dunsmuir Suite has a queen bed and its own private ensuite with a tub and shower.
THE LOUNGE: A guest lounge with a double sofa bed for guests 5 and 6, plus a fridge, Nespresso, kettle, dishes and cutlery.
OUTSIDE: A rear door opens onto a covered deck and garden with a propane BBQ and seating just for guests.
YOUR PRIVACY: Your own entrance and smart-lock self check-in. No other guests are booked on the floor during your stay. The main and upper floors are the owner’s private residence; we’re nearby if you need anything.
NEARBY: Walk two minutes to the Salt Spring ferry for a day at the Saturday Market, hunt for rocks on the beach at Osborne Bay Regional Park, or stroll the boardwalk at sunset. Chemainus’s murals are 10 minutes away, Duncan and the Cowichan Valley wineries 20 minutes, Nanaimo 35 minutes and Victoria about an hour. Once you book, you’ll receive our guidebook with our favourite cafés, beaches, walks and day trips.
GOOD TO KNOW: Check-in 2–7 PM, checkout 10 AM. The lead guest must be 21 or older. Quiet hours 10 PM to 8 AM. No smoking, pets or events. There’s no on-site laundry; a laundromat is one block away. Free street parking on Joan Avenue.
