Cozy vacation rental in the Stryck neighborhood of Willingen: Enjoy peaceful natural surroundings right below the Ettelsberg and just 850 m from the Mühlenkopfschanze! This modern, 50 m² apartment is the perfect base for your vacation.
The bedroom features a double bed and a chaise longue; the living area has a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps 2 people. Ideal for couples or families with children who want to explore Willingen in comfort.
A name with history: The apartment was once built by our great-grandfather KARL BERGE. Today, it has become a cozy temporary home for guests—with a view of the Ettelsberg and a glimpse of the place where our family history began.
The approximately 50 m² apartment is small, cozy, practical, and, above all, in a great location. It’s ideal for a couple, but it’s also a good choice for a small family with children. It can accommodate up to four people: the bedroom has a double bed and a chaise longue, and the living room has a comfortable sofa bed for two people. For four adults, the apartment is rather compact—but for a couple or a family, it offers a pleasant base for a vacation in Willingen.
ARRIVE AND FEEL AT HOME
The bright living room combines a sleeper sofa, a dining table, and a built-in kitchen. From the balcony, you have a direct view of the Ettelsberg and the Willingen Skywalk—a lovely spot for your first cup of coffee in the morning or to wind down after a hike.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your vacation: refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker (Tchibo Cafissimo capsule system), electric kettle, toaster, as well as dishes, silverware, pots, and everything needed for hassle-free self-catering.
Additional amenities include a TV and Wi-Fi.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and hair dryer. A washing machine and dryer are available in the shared laundry room.
If you’re coming to Willingen for the Ski Jumping World Cup, you’re in for a treat: The Mühlenkopfschanze is only about 850 meters away and easily accessible on foot. A flat walking path leads down to the landing area in the valley, a walk that takes about 15 minutes.
The location is also convenient for winter sports enthusiasts. The apartment includes a lockable basement storage unit with space for skis, snowboards, and up to two bicycles (batteries can be charged in the apartment). Equipment can also be dried in the basement.
And after an active day, you can return to the peaceful setting on the Stryck—far from the hustle and bustle of the town center.
HIKING, MOUNTAIN BIKING, SKIING, NATURE
The apartment is an ideal starting point for exploring the countryside around Willingen. The Ettelsberg, with its skiing and hiking area, is practically right outside the door, while the Stryckpark stretches out directly behind the house.
Mountain bikers will also find a great starting point for tours here.
Those who prefer to get around without a car can use the shared taxi service (AST), with a stop right outside the door.

Children are very welcome. A high chair and some games are available in the apartment.
