La Segreta del Castello is surrounded by streets paved with “La chianca” (stone), historic alleyways, and walls with stone arches. All of this evokes the medieval life under Frederick II as it was lived in Gioia del Colle, in the province of Bari. La Segreta del Castello is located: 200 meters from Piazza Plebiscito, the heart of the town; 200 meters from City Hall; 200 meters from the “Matrice” church; and 200 meters from restaurants, bars, pizzerias, shops, and the main streets of Gioia del Colle.
