Apartment in rustic country house style on the Hohlmühle estate in Vogelsberg, Hesse. Vogelsberg is Europe’s largest volcanic area and offers many opportunities for hiking, cycling, and trips to picturesque half-timbered towns such as Alsfeld, Grünberg, Lauterbach, and Schotten. The Hoherodskopf (775 m) features a climbing forest, summer toboggan run, and a bird park in Schotten. A small zoo with many animals and play areas is also worth a visit.
The Hohlmühle, dating from the 16th century, is in complete seclusion outside the hamlet of Schellnhausen (34 inhabitants). The approx. 98 sqm apartment is on the first floor of an outbuilding and is accessed via a balcony with an external staircase. It is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and garden furniture. You have your own garden, terrace, and barbecue area. Some books for adults and children and a table tennis table are available. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a filter coffee machine. Central heating provides pleasant warmth. A workspace is available.
