The location was fantastic, the view from the bedroom window into the square below was so picturesque. The apartment is only a short walk from the bus taking you directly to and from the airport (would highly recommend this), as well as the funicular down and up to the highest part of the city.
The apartment itself was clean, modern and well furnished. The terrace was a lovely place for a coffee, or aperitivo, taking in the gentle hubbub from the restaurant below.
The hosts communication was excellent - we had a tiny bit of difficulty getting in to begin with, but they responded instantly so it wasn't an issue at all.
While many of the basics were provided (cutlery, etc and pods for coffee machine for the first day), there weren't any chopping boards or oven gloves etc - just needed a few more kitchen essentials. The kitchen itself is well fitted, but a little hard to use without some of the basics.

Great location on a little piazza right on the main walking street. Only 3 nights but lovely to be in Cite Alta and not in main town below. Slept well in nice bedroom and sit by the window overlooking the small square. Lounge good if a little small everything you need but we were out all the time! Bathroom with shower small but all worked well. Great to have an outside terrace (no views) but with the good weather really nice to sit out in the open with a morning coffee and enjoy the space.
For us nothing we didn't like.

When I booked I thought the advertised breakfast meant it was of a hotel, but it was was actually some way away and when we got there it was pretty poor.
Tv was practically all in Italian and a lot of the channels didn’t work at all. Given the accommodation is advertised internationally it should provide an international range of TV. The bathroom was very small, especially the shower. No good for some who is 6 feet 2 inches. Fan was welcome, but really needs air con in Bergamo summer climate. Internet connection was intermittent to start with and non-existent for 60% of the time. Lot of cracks in the tiling. Overall, this potentially excellent apartment needs a bit of investment to bring it up to standard and to make clear that it’s not part of a hotel.

the house needs renovation - its very old and the facilities also - broken tiles in the floor - very old bath- lights the dont work all
