The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel offers direct access to Times Square, making it the perfect choice if you want to be right in the middle of all the action. The bellman went above and beyond and was truly the highlight of my stay. Top-notch service all around!
Beds were comfy too and thank goodness for the blackout shades! Be in the know that the City does not sleep in Times Square - it is quieter in the early mornings, but its always awake!
Also - if you're wanting to stay in the midst of Times Square - this is your place! Very easy to get to and access and across the street from Central Perk, visit for your morning coffee or juniors for a 24 hour meal - you wont be disappointed with either one!
While there were a lot of positives, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The street-level entrance feels a bit dated and the water feature near the second set of doors had a musty odor. Looking up, it appeared stagnant in some areas and showed signs of mold or discoloration, which detracted from the first impression.
Our room was also a bit dusty and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. It worked well enough, especially when we kept the curtains closed and the windows shut throughout the day, but it never got as cool as we would have preferred.
That said, I did not give the staff an opportunity to address these concerns during my stay. I only mentioned that the room seemed warm during checkout, so it's possible these issues could have been resolved had I brought them to their attention sooner.

Location is good. Off Times Square and close to shows.
It was a pain going up two different elevators to get to room. The experience checking in wasn’t ideal. The staff member rushed thru and didn’t tell us much except if there were questions to call to desk or ask concierge.

The staff paid great attention to detail. The lobby, restaurant, and bar staff were very nice and accommodating.
The view from my room was of the New York Marquis, not necessarily the "CITY VIEW" I thought I booked. The sinks were updated but not the toilets and showers.

The noise from Times Square. I feel like the window should be double or triple pane to cut down the noise.
