It’s the best place to escape the city! There are tons of activities to keep you entertained, and the restaurant on-site was truly exceptional.
It would be great to see updated photos of the units online, as well as a clear note mentioning that the suites don't come equipped with a stove. Having a resort/building map available beforehand would also help guests choose their unit based on location.

I really enjoyed our stay at this auberge. The highlight is definitely the location. It’s set on a beautiful, small lake that is calm, pristine, and every bit as idyllic as the photos suggest.
The activities were much better organized than I expected. At places like this, you sometimes wonder if they simply hand you a kayak and send you on your way, but here they have an activity coordinator who rents out the equipment, explains how to use it, and helps you get started. There’s also a lovely little beach, and the peaceful lake makes it a wonderful place to spend the day.
The pool is also very nice, although a bit on the small side.
The restaurant serves excellent food, but it is quite expensive. We enjoyed eating there once or twice, but for the rest of our stay we found ourselves driving into town for meals.
Overall, my two kids had a fantastic time, and we all left feeling relaxed. I’d happily recommend this auberge to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway.
Staff were all very kind and friendly.
I was a bit concerned before arriving because some reviews mentioned that the rooms were dated, but I honestly thought they were perfectly fine. The beds were comfortable, and while the bathrooms are a little dated, everything was clean and had a charming, rustic feel. Overall, it’s exactly what I’d expect from a three-star hotel.
The only downside was a very loud dehumidifier in the middle of the room. It made quite a bit of noise overnight, but we simply turned it off without any issues.
The restaurant was excellent, although I almost felt it was too upscale for this type of property. The food was delicious, but it was also quite expensive. We enjoyed eating there once, but I wouldn’t want to dine there every day during a multi-night stay. I do wish they offered a more affordable, casual breakfast option for guests.
Some of the cottages are quite a ways away from the main building, something to keep in mind for people with mobility issues.
