Didn’t use breakfast. Location was close to our meeting place. The parking was perfect to get in and out of the motel.
Poor lighting on room ( one lamp didn’t work). The door to the room was hard to open and close.

We had the largest suite: 2 queen beds in a separate room and a king bed in another separate room. Both rooms had access to a lounge/ TV room area with couch and large windows.
The beds were very comfortable and we all had a great sleep. Air conditioning worked well and ceiling fan. Our rom was very quiet and did not hear any other guests.
The room was extremely outdated , early 90’s. The burgundy carpet gave an appearance of not properly cleaned( not hygienic). The room would be better with a vinyl floor for the sand etc. when we entered our room we noticed a large puddle of water on bathroom floor. We never saw a leak anywhere. Curtains seemed unhygienic.

Room was clean, comfortable and convenient. Liked having pool and hot tub on site and cafe restaurant but was only until 2:00.
Coffee and teas in lobby as well as lemonade and cookies.
Location is great, can walk to several eateries and stores. 5 mins to the beach by car.
Most staff extremely friendly...especially female manager.
We stayed a week so didn't ask for room to be cleaned.
Unit 24, queen room exterior. The AC unit was very old and noisy. It stopped working one day, went without for the night, repaired the next day but loud. Stopped again that night, called for a repair again the next day. Couldnt be fixed, brought us a portable one right away and gave us a free breakfast.
Toilet seat was broken.

the room was absolutely DISGUSTING ants crawling everywhere it was so dirty. I wanted to leave however my husband said it’s only a few hours to sleep and then leave

the staff were very nice
it wasn’t clean nor maintained- the keurig Machine was full of dust inside and out.
they heated my room with a space heater! instead of giving me another room - I froze for a couple hours waiting for the room to heat up before I called the front desk - a space heater was brought. the staff said, “we’ll have to close this room off after your stay”. 🥺

The previous 2 visits I was in the newer section of the hotel which I liked, this trip I was in the older section which I didn't care for. They said that the cheaper price that I paid was for the older section.
I was given the older section of the Place, while the newer section was unused by guests. Also the toilet kept running. I had to change rooms.

Location was perfect.
Wondered when pulling up to front entrance if they were even open. Very plain. Not welcoming at all. Same in the lobby. Plain and not inviting at all. Both receptionist dressed in old t-shirts. Upon arrival to our room. Room looked clean, but beds were low to the floor with bed skirts and comforters were hanging on the floor.

my friend and I checked the website before booking a room. the rooms were out dated looking, originally I parked by my room and the lot was flooded from the storm at the back. there was one light blanket and the room was freezing,

i didn't try the breakfast but the location was great, close to many stores and restaurants. overall it was nice and quiet from 2am to 5am, and the kids enjoyed the pool before bed and first thing in the morning.
housekeeping was continuously cleaning the room next door and the vacuum kept banging off the wall. the bathroom window was extremely loose, as it almost fell out when i opened it to vent the bathroom after a shower.

I love this location to stay in Port Elgin.... Room is just simple and that is all you need..... Love the drink bar at the front ....as the coffee makers don't work in the room.....
I know you have new staff cleaning ...... But you don't need rooms checked everyday... If people are to put the little sign on the doors of do not disturb .... Or make up room ....... Make sure all rooms have them.... Also tell them on check in....
Please also if you in someone's room to make sure the door is locked..... Very important ......

Location is central, in general very clean, quiet, the restaurant has great breakfast
The pool requires updating. The room did have a bit of a musty smell but it's an older hotel. I would think about getting rid of the carpets as an update.

Staff. Pool and Hot tub. Coffee and cookies in the lobby. Location. Bed sleep comfort. No stairs.
Maybe add a fire pit. Bedding/drapes need upgrade. Parking lot needs redo and lines painted. More towels in the room.
