The view was amazing. A very historic hotel. A step back in time. Staff were extremely polite. Bathroom in rooms had been upgraded but no bench space. Pack light if staying at hotel. Scrumptious high tea with a very British influence. Bell hops operate the oldest manual working elevator in the world.
No privacy, the walls were so thin you could hear conversation of your neighbour.
Rooms and bathroom were very small and cramped. Glad only stayed one night.

The location is exquisite and the property itself historically very interesting.
Our room (423) was on the small side and was extremely cold due to the force of the wind coming in through the window frames.
When we asked for an extra heater, we were only provided with an extra blanket.
Apart from a very small minority (Rory in particular) the remainder of the staff were insincere.
We were also of the opinion that food and beverage prices were on the high side.
