I stayed at this motel a few years ago and found it to be fair value for my money, so this wasn't the first time there. The staff were good and the room was fine. However, there were a lot of flies in the room and so I had to go across the street to buy s flyswatter so I could have a peaceful sleep. Apart from that, the place was great.

Exceptional value for the price, easy to walk to the historic downtown, the fort, or the river. The staff member was lovely and as a solo traveller, I felt very safe during my stay.

I liked the availability of hot tea, as the room was very cool to start with.
The pillows on the bed were very small. Could use normal-sized pillows for an improved rest. I could not get the motel hair dryer to work but fortunately had brought my own. Poor pillows were our main complaint.
