I liked the classic decor. The old style marble in the bathroom with the slant-backed tub/shower, very comfortable. Option for coffee or tea with the electric water pot. Nice to have a mini fridge also. The hotel was only 2 blocks from my destination, which was very walkable and safe feeling along Rush Street. Also, liked the Parisienne Bakery next door; very handy for breakfast. Self-parking was convenient across the street. Plenty of outlets for electronics.
The only thing I could mention here is that the ventilation system was a little noisy. But not really a big issue. Would be nice to have a pad of paper/pen in the desk.

Great location, great room/
Breakfast very poor, with mostly cheap ingredients that I never normally eat.

location was decent and accessible to public transport and restaurants. was able to get a preferred end of hall room that i requested for
welcoming staff was a bit rude when checking in because we did not want to pay extra for early check in and we were already planning to only drop our bags off and start our day
