It was wonderful stay
I liked everything but would be better if they have window opening for fresh air but can use door but mosquitoes and fly can come due to no net door

Wendy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The A/C couldn't keep up with the heat. There was a fan in the room also, and that helped.

Loved the WHIFS restaurant on site.
Quiet accommodations despite the highway right there.
Dated room and uncomfortable beds.
Shower water adjusted with shower going.

Near to Drumheller and the local attractions.Although a very budget motel, it did have a fridge, air con, shower etc,and everything did work.
Just very budget feel. Hopefully someone will remove the collection of flies from the light, a group of dead ones and ones on there last legs.... We left it off!

This was our first trip to Drumheller as the kids are all old enough to really enjoy it. We were looking for inexpensive and the badlands motel hit it right on the head! It's an older motel yes, but as one reviewer said they had noticed renovations during their stay happening, I believe we had one of those rooms. Nice vinyl plank in the main area and new carpet In the bedroom and nice light grey painted walls. Full kitchenette and great size fridge. The oven cooked food perfectly as well. When we went the temperature was 33 and 36! The air conditioning kept up very nicely! The only reason we survived our stay was that we had a nice and cool home base lol. All 6 of us slept amazing! Mom and dad's bed was very comfy and the kids was a hair below that but they all said they slept great too. The sound proofing was amazing! There were a couple loud guests upstairs behind us but you could only hear them when I was outside taking our dog to the bathroom. And when we would leave our dog for the day and when we got back and he would see us we couldn't hear him get excited but could see it through the window lol. The staff were also great! Always friendly! Never seemed bothered when we would ask for ice or towels and what not. This was probably our family's first great trip and we cannot wait to be back before the summer ends. It's impossible to see all the things you want to see! Oh and the patio chairs and table right outaide our door was a very nice touch lol. Thank you so much!
Honestly I don't think there was anything to complain about. We knew we were getting a motel and we knew what that intailed and it still exceeded our expectations! It was a very great stay!

Very spacious rooms, very clean and fantastic location.

Outlet in bathroom didn't work. Bathroom sink didn't have hot water. Air conditioning was mediocre.

Great location for getting in the Dino activities, staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Air con was awesome too, it was very hot when we visited.
The top cover of the bed feels awful, the bathrooms were very small and hot, beds were old and uncomfortable. Quite expensive for what it is.

We always stay at this location when in Drumheller - it is a good location for us. The rooms are alway clean and comfortable.
Nothing - it was fine.

Cool location across from cliffs. Pretty quiet, nice to have the good restaurant, Whifs, on-site (which you get 10% off for being a motel guest). Check-in and out staff were friendly, restaurant server was super-friendly and kept the coffee refills coming, which is rare and always appreciated. We didn't use the mini kitchen, other than to reheat our take-out in the microwave, but could see it being useful if staying longer than one night.
In pretty dire need of upgrading -- paint, carpets, door latch -- all a little old (but clean). Super small bathroom, but it's fine for one night while passing through town.

The breakfast is good.
The air conditioning is too noise.

The location is great. I like smaller drive up motels.
The rooms are really in need of some paint and deeper cleaning.

great location and friendly staff.
with all street level rooms, i would expect to have more than just one lock on the door for safety. the addition of a secondary chain or bar lock as standard in many other hotels wouldve made the property more comfortable.

Nothing
No Internet, AC not working & shower not good ... didn't like & please same money you can book other good hotel

The room & linens were exceptionally clean, we didn't hear any noise from the surrounding suites at all & had a comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and housekeeping came each day, which isn't the norm anymore at most places. Great location and we go to Whifs every time we are in Drumheller, so it was a no-brainer. Also pet friendly for a low $15/night fee which was a huge bonus for travelling with our dog.
Furnishings are quite dated, the bathroom floor had questionable structural integrity - soft and spongy underneath the laminate. To their credit, there were renovations happening in empty suites & the restaurant also seems to have had a facelift outside since last year when we visited.

Nothing I can think of.

Great location near Tyrell Museum. So glad to discover that Whiff's Pancake House on the property reopened. Fantastic service both from Motel and restaurant staff.

From the moment I opened the door to the room I was pleasantly surprised as to how clean and presentable the room was. It is really well maintained.

When I checked in, the person on the desk knew my story, from the details of the booking, and had considered this in choice of room. He also let me know that I was in that particular room because I had my dog with me (details of the booking), and it was easy access to walking trails for me and my dog!! Above and beyond, I think. He also recommended a restaurant, since theirs was closed for the season.
The room was clean, and had clearly been "updated", but could use more work. For my needs, it was just fine. I had a good, comfortable sleep. If it had been summer, I could have sat outside on the step, where there is a table and two chairs. Nice touches.

no heat in room. asked to be moved couldn’t move. got told come back in half hour if still cold we can get you a space heater.
called and asked for extra blankets was so cold. was the rudest desk clerk I have ever experienced. complained how I woke him up. it was just after 10pm.
was clearly HIGH when we checked in, the desk was unattended and had to ring bell, when he finally got there it was obvious by the smell what he had been doing in the back room. the desk was again unattended when tried to check out. rang bell and waited for over 5 minutes, nobody came and I couldn’t wait.

Location was great, nice walking paths.
I little bit noisy by the road and a bit dated but we didn't mind.
7.0
The room was quiet despite the motel being situated next to a road. The motel is located a little outside of the town but close to some of the museums and trials that you can visit. The room was fairly basic, clean and had some facilities such as a microwave and coffee machine.
The room was a little cold and the curtains didn't cover the whole window so there was always a gap to the outside carpark and road.
