The bar! I’m a designer and the space planning is horrific—not professionally done—if so, ask your staff as they were struggling and most importantly…your guests struggled. I made suggestions to a better furniture placement and the staff said, we agree with you but an interior designer created this set up. I was unimpressed. We left the bar, which is a money maker for you, as it was intolerable.

I love this property for the views on the lawn, location in the gorge, proximity to Portland, and pool and activities for my kids.
Hidden costs/fees. The room quote was $266, but we paid $360 in the end after a $15 parking fee, $48 resort fee, and taxes. Even though you’re paying a high resort fee, you can expect to pay $20 per person for the putting golf course (which actually fun and beautiful), most things you want to do. We did enjoy the ropes course - well worth the cost.
Food service was not great- communication was poor, long waits to order and pay, and just a general unwillingness to be helpful in large part. I was told there wasn’t a breakfast buffet at check in, but after waiting to order breakfast for a while my son wandered the dining room and found one. The bacon was good but the rest was not.
The numbers for the resort were to disconnected phones. I had difficulty finding a way to book adventures.

The restaurants and resort were nice and family friendly. The zip line fun as were the other things to do.
The glamping tents are adjacent to the train tracks at a crossing. You can not see it through the trees but no one mentioned this and the trains blow the horns every time they go by the crossing throughout the night.
