Holiday Inn Express South Burlington by IHG

I’m giving this review a little after the fact so I don’t have a lot of details to offer but my overall recollection is that the room and common areas were clean and the room layout was good. Our bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast offered good variety and was well-stocked. The woman who was in charge of that area was really on top of it and very friendly. I saw her going out of her way to help a family who had a kid with a lot of special dietary needs. The check-people were nice.

The parking could have been better and the elevator didn’t work at times. My only real complaint was a staff member at the desk who acted put out when we asked for help when we discovered that our car broke down overnight and wouldn’t operate when we were trying to leave early in the morning (5:00am). Maybe she was just having a bad day and is was quite early. I still wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Good location for our visit to Burlington and Stowe. Breakfast was good and convenient. The coffee was really good and the afternoon cookies were a big hit!

The rooms were not very sound proof. you could hear everything in the hall and adjorning room. The doors slammed when closing no matter what you tried to do. Luckily I had earplugs.

The hotel was very clean! The staff was top notch. Sashae addressed all of our needs and was very professional. Location was very close to all of our interests. The breakfast staff was very attentive to all of our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area!
