This was the first Hampton Inn we’ve stayed at that was not worth the price.

Room was stuffy. TV difficult to operate. Coffee pot had wrong size inserts so didn’t work. Water in shower took forever to heat up. Toilet had to be fixed by us several times. Loud interstate noise all night.

Avoid unless you know the work is all finished

Convenient location

There were building works everywhere, which I was not notified about. Consequently the hotel was grubby. The staff responded - oh didn’t you get the email? And that was it.

My experience at the Hampton Inn and Suites

Front desk accommodated us every time with towels, room service, etc. Kids enjoyed the pool everyday. Breakfast buffet every morning was good.

The extension shower head never did work in our 4 day stay. It's supposed to be accessible for wheelchair bound patients. So taking a shower for her was a task.

I have stayed at this hotel for many years and this will be my last visit.

Location.

Breakfast was a big disappointment; it used to be so much better. Choices were very limited. Breads were pre-packaged, no biscuits, coffee was weak, juices were watered down.

Good location

The AC in the room didn't work. The bedside lights were two different temperature. The toilet seat was almond, but the toilet was white (lol). And the shower head seemed to be purchased at a dollar tree.

Fabulou!!!!

Everything was great! The front desk clerks were friendly. The place was very clean, and location very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Had a great stay. War Eagle!!

The tv gave me a hard time at first.

The beds could have been more comfortable. Most of the Hampton Inn’s that I’ve had stayed in before were comfortable.

Great stay.

Everything was great except I didn’t initially have bath towels and had to wait at least 30 minutes for them.

Very good

The beds were so comfortable

There was just a little hair in the shower, which can happen when you clean it I guess. They only had skim milk for breakfast. There was no vitamin D nor 1 or 2 percent milk and they stated they don’t carry it anymore because their customers did not request it. If I spend that money for an night I expect regular milk. I love Hampton Inn, but I will reconsider this in the future.

It was an unpleasant stay, we definitely won’t return

Very limited selection. Small omelettes seem fake

The motel was out of soaps. They said use shampoo for showering!! The staff was uninterested in providing pleasant interaction Opelika and Auburn Univ. deserve better

I will return as I have stayed there often and do pretty much always stay at A Hampton

Size of the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet.

Breakfast was a disappointment. It has been better. Not enough choices. The breakfast at La Quinta is a real breakfast.

I can tell this is one of the older Hampton Inns.

I did like that the room had a lot of space and that the location is tucked off but not far from any restaurants and stores.

It seems really nice on the outside but once inside it appears very old and outdated. It even smells old especially in the stairwells. The rooms are ok but not great. Remodel needed for sure

The quality of the Hampton Inns has deteriorated significantly. We are switing to the Marriott.

Location

The sink stopper in the bathroom was inoperable. We called it to the attention of the front desk clerk who said that maintnance personnel didn't work on weekends and that they would fix it on Monday. Monday came and went and it didn't get fixed.

we were assigned a room on the first floor and the room smelled very musty. It look like they had been airing out the carpet for a flood down the hall. So I don’t know if that contributed. We got transferred to a room on the third floor and it was not clean. The tub was dirty the towels did not look clean. There was black mold on the shower curtain and pink mold on the shower faucet
