Location
Understaffed in restaurant , not enough coffee supplies for our stay, bed was soft, roach in bathroom

Posizione veramente ottima in tutti i sensi sia per riposare ma anche per fare escursioni
Tasto dolente nelle tre notti non hanno mai fatto la camera e cambiato gli asciugamani

Loved the location. Beautiful!
We liked everything!

The position.
Very dated. Sewage smells absolutely disgusting in the bedrooms and hallways. It was awful! Oh and too many day trippers from coaches using the hotel and hanging around in the reception areas all day and night.

Location nearby the lake is great
No elevator to Access to the second floor, no ice, thé ice machine was our of ordre

it was dirty, smelly hallway and we stayed for 4 nights never bother to clean the room even with a request. nobody answered the phone it doesn’t matter what time of the day. we were traveling midnight and just want to make sure the hotel will be open or if we will be able to enter the park, but no one answered the phone or communicated to us by e mail. it was a bad experience…I won’t recommend go to nearby hotel .
staff were lazy and rude and hiding behind the doors not willing to help. fridge not working, Tv not working, ice machine not working . the towels with gross stained 🤮supposed to be an upscale room.

Location was excellent & main reason we chose this resort. Beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was delicious, but very expensive & lacking waffles or pancakes.

It’s a little dated. The carpet seemed like it could be replaced. Overall, it was okay. The lighting in the halls was a little “institutional.” But, the room was okay. The bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful views, everything well organized and set up. We loved the restaurants.

Great staff and overall vibe.
Horrible smells in the hallways and the rooms were very worn, outdated, and in major need of updates. Paint was dingy and chipping, toilet seat falling off, popcorn ceilings were yellow, carpet was gross, Rusty hardware, etc etc.

The resort was clean and the scenery was beautiful. very close to what we wanted to see.
no tables to play cards at night after dinner.

That you could walk the path on the lake side and have a nice view. lots of benches to sit. coffee shop in lobby.
we were pretty mad when we turned up and we’re not given the room we booked because we had our dogs. they stated they do not give lake view rooms when pets are present. I told them this was not stated on the booking site when booking, and I even showed them the terms and conditions that were supplied to me they gave me only two options. One option I was given was to pay for a cleaning fee after we leave for the room that we had already pre-paid for and booked. option two was take a room without a view and not pay a cleaning fee, but also be given a small refund. I was dissatisfied with the options I was provided and told their management. I was not offered any other options.

The room with a view was very nice.
The outside grounds were kept up very nicely even in the off-season but the rooms are feeling a bit run down.

The staff was all very nice and helpful and the room was clean and nice. The room also had a beautiful back area with great views.
Because it was off season the restaurant was open for dinner when we got there, but not for breakfast the next day. We really wanted a good breakfast to sustain us through the day but had to settle for Starbucks things that were really not filling at all.

The property is very beautiful and clean. It’s also right on the water which would be nice for walking or views. The restaurant seems like it would’ve been enjoyable too.
It’s impossible to get ahold of anyone at the front desk. I don’t even think the phone number is active anymore. The property itself is also pretty far from town. It’s not very convenient if you’re planning to do other things while visiting.

Everything was good except . Very loud fridge all night and fan all night noise

The views and the location
No cleaning rooms. Lack of staff and not very attentive. Closed restaurant for breakfast. Terrible service and quality food at the coffee Starbucks location they offer.

we appreciated the Lake View from our outdoor patio
very dated, resort staff (front desk twice and Gift shop once) were less than helpful and the cleanliness left a LOT to be desired. The dispensers of shampoo, Conditioner, Hand soap, Body wash and body lotion… had not been cleaned or refilled in ages and only worked occasionally.
Tried calling the Front Desk on our day of check out, went over an hour with no response. When I drove to the Reception desk and explained that we’d been calling the response was “well why were you calling the front desk?”
I was calling the front desk to check out!! Rude!
similar experience in the gift shop while purchasing 2 hoodie sweatshirts… rude staff! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for visitors.

Parking for our truck and boat.
Lack of coffee, who the hell drinks tea and decaff?? Asked for more and they gave me 2. Thought for $700 I wouldnt have to bring my own coffee...

The grounds were beautiful and the location was amazing. The staff was friendly and everything was very clean.
The rooms were dated. We went to the Sunday breakfast buffet and it looked like a low budget hotel free breakfast. Honestly I was shocked they were charging for it

Breakfast buffet $18. I did not do this
It was excellent. The view the pool the place just awesome. A little older hotel but so well

We enjoyed how clean the lobby areas where, the starbucks addition to the lobby because I am a big coffee drinker, the rooms were spacious enough for what we needed for the weekend as it was just a place to sleep and relax, and the bathrooms stayed clean. We were always able to get fresh towels and wash cloths when asked and never saw any space dirty in all honesty. The gift shop was great! It had personalized items for the trip to remember how it went and I got myself a hand painted Arizona ornament which was great since my husband is originally from Arizona. All in all, it was a great stay.
The only thing I did not like was that the bathroom and some parts of the hotel felt small due to the lighting in the space, but I know that just comes with it being an older hotel and just renovating some things to work with what is already there. I was not sure if the hotel pool was open or not since it seemed to be worked on the whole time we were there. We were not there for the pool, but it sure would have been relaxing to enjoy it after a long day of hiking that we were there to actually do!
